Installing Spray Foam In Rockland Maine

Cold! Installing Spray Foam near Rockland, Maine. This job was done in February when it was at least 10 below outside. You can see the sea smoke coming off the water. This is us waiting in line to take the ferry to Islesboro. It was an extremely cold weather application. We used Open Cell on this job. Our application temp for that product is very low so we were able to spray. We would not have been able to do this job if we had to use our closed cell product products. Spray Foam Insulation In Ellsworth, Maine

Here is a job we did down near the Ellsworth area. This person had a very efficiently build house on a lake. The lake was extremely windy. Adding the air barrier material was essential in creating a comfortable living and heating environment. We used Icynene Classic Plus. We catherdralized the roof deck so they could use the whole interior as living space. We also sprayed the daylight basement.

Spraying Foam Insulation In Mount Desert, Maine

This picture shows a hybrid system with Icynene open cell in the walls and Sips panels in the Roof. This is a great system if you are building post and beam houses or you really want to preserve the existing roof in an old building like these. Using Sips panels makes it easier to leave beams exposed while still insulating the home. These pictures show the steep incline of the road down to the camp. Closed Cell and Open Cell Hybrid in Belfast, Maine

On this job we decided to do a hybrid system. We sprayed our open cell foam to the attic floor. Then we sprayed the walls with closed cell. We did this because this is a metal building. The closed cell offers the rigidity and low vapor permeable material needed for metal buildings. However we were able to spray open cell to the attic floor which provided our customer with decent savings on the project because our open cell is less expensive. Spraying insulation on Islesboro, Maine

Insulating underground heating pipes with spray foam in Lincolnville, Me

This picture is taken before we sprayed. This picture was taken after we sprayed. When insulating your heating pipes like this it is important to keep your domestic water separated for your heated water. Otherwise you may not have any cold water to drink!

Spraying in Deer Isle, Maine

This Job proved to be very interesting because the owner of the building had a 50 sail boat directly in the middle of the spray area!! We used our construction experience and general know-how to create a safe, well covered, and practical solution. We don't like to take chances. Especially with a high valued items like this sail boat. Sail Boat in the Middle of Spray Area Attatched living space to garage with in-floor heat.
